The Aguasin filters constitute our standard line. These are mixed with other teams to form the overall design of a treatment plant. Its operation is manual or automatic and its construction is in steel and reinforced fiber alternately for some smaller sizes.

There are filters made to protect equipment, rather than clarify water. In this case, the filter elements are removable (or tights cartridges) for replacement or for submission to external cleaning.

• Pressure filters made by Aguasin are the most common and they conform a multilayer filter descending from the largest to smallest size.

• Flocculators filters are equivalent to those above, but for being cilindrically taller and operate at a lower rate, flocculation allows particles before reaching the filter beds.

• Pool filters have only one filter bed and operate at higher rates, because the flow of water treated to several times through the filter in a recirculation stream from the filter to the pond (or pool).

• The activated carbon filter which has a specific surface loading of from 1,000 to 1,200 m2/gr, for which gives a capacity of organic pollutants and covalent decomposition (decomposition of active chlorine in chlorides Cl2 = 2Cl-).

• The filters remove iron and manganese have a load of green sand or glauconite, which has a surface activated with an oxidizer (KMnO4) which allows contaminants from water to oxidize and absorb or trap in the same bed.

Mesh Filters

Filtomat filtration equipment were developed in Israel in 1976. They are mesh filters and take advantage due to its high cleaning efficiency and simplicity of operation. Not require electrical power and taking advantage of the feed water pressure. Filtomat mesh filters are installed directly into the water line. The water enters a large initial screening or grinding, to prevent entry of larger particles to the system. From there, the water enters the fine filter chamber, one micron preset.
The particles accumulate in the fine mesh, producing a differential pressure between input and output, which gives rise to the automatic cleaning. The teams below 50 micron mesh required minimum pressure, higher than the other meshes, so please refer case to case.

Pool Filters

Pool filters AGUASIN PM model, work under pressure, manually operated and designed to clarify water recirculation circuits, such as swimming pools, cooling towers, decorative fountains, etc.

They are built on steel plates dished cold, epoxy coated inside with high resistance to corrosion. They have different loads of support and particle size filtering selected. On the front have a manifold of command for operations of filtration, washing and backwashing.

Flocculators

AGUASIN flocculators filters, and flaA FLMA series of manual and automatic operation, respectively, work under pressure and make clear water to a turbidity of less than 2 NTU. This is done because the computer is equipped with loads of different supportive and filter fineness.

The water passes through the layers in a downward direction, thus generating a process of coagulation-flocculation of colloids, as a result of progressive increase in water velocity, resulting in the disruption of electrochemical equilibrium of these colloids. This selective filtration process, allows for removal of particles at least five times more efficient than conventional filters of quartz.

Manual and Automatic Filters

Water softener by ionic interchange are generally used as equipment that set up the water of low pressure boilers, heating systems, or where the water supply has got special content of calcium and magnesium which has to be removed.

Aguasin has got a standard line of these equipment (Manual and Automatic versions), and also equipment built in steel or reinforced fibre.

Additionally to the traditional softeners (co-current, manual or automatic) there are designs that permit the optimization of the softening process. In this case the design of the softener is made counter-current, fixed-layer, etc.; which also operate in manual or automatic forms. For this design, the equipment are calculated depending on the application and quality of the water that it is needed to be reached, from the available customer quality.
